How Long Should I Stay in an Ice Plunge?

Studies show that a total of 11 minutes per week is sufficient to get the most out of an ice bath, and that can be broken up into multiple plunges (as short as 3-4 minutes.) A typical ice plunge is anywhere between 5-10 minutes for the body and mind to get the full effect. However, staying in past 10 minutes can start to become dangerous with the risk of hypothermia.

How Do I Drain a Cedar Tub?

Every cedar tub comes with two draining systems built into them. The first is an exterior drain compatible with your garden hose, allowing you to run your gray water away from your patio. The second is a plug under the bench seating in the floor to finish draining the remaining few inches of water.
